Cornish coach in running for EH Award 2019!

Kat is one of five shortlisted to win the prestigious prize at the glitzy award ceremony being held at Athena in Leicester on Saturday 11th May 2019.
The nomination was purely down to pupils, parents and Newquay players who conspired and put the submission together, then sent this off to England Hockey for consideration.
Kat has been key in delivering some fantastic results for our Cornish players with qualification into the England Hockey National Finals for Truro High School being a pinnacle. These were held at Lee Valley Hockey Centre earlier this year and the team went on to finish 3rd. In her 'spare time' she is also the lead coach for the County U14 squads and also coaches Newquay Ladies HC who have two ladies teams and a junior squad.
This is an amazing achievement and we all wish her lots of luck for the 11th May!!
