Cornwall County AGM postponed

Over the past week or so you will have received notice of our intended date for the AGM. This is in accordance with the County constitution and hence us sending out the associated paperwork.
Clearly we realise that the physical event was highly unlikely to take place on the intended date. There have been discussions around holding a virtual event but at this stage we would rather wait until (hopefully) September whereby the new committee can be elected and our club representatives will have the opportunity to discuss issues further. In the meantime the existing committee will remain in post until members have the opportunity to vote.
As mentioned on latest emails to all our clubs we are in need of new committee members and it is vital that volunteers step forward to help progress our programme of events and general running of the County. Whilst all postions are up for election I would highlight the need for our President, Vice Chair and Secretary as a minimum.
After many years of involvement on the committee it is with sadness that both Ian Wilson and Jeanette Coleman are stepping down. We wish them both all the best and hope they enjoy their free time!
