Minutes and actions from the Cornwall Club Forum

Below are a list of ACTIONS from the meeting (priority actions highlighted in gold):
- SW Youth Games if interested contact Adam Lock - adamlock265@yahoo.co.uk
- Clubs to update affiliation numbers portal if not already done
- Clubs to set guidance on GDPR and take appropriate steps to ensure they are compliant
- Clubs to inform BR if they need a TTL workshop
- Clubs to register for HockeyFest via YWC portal
- Clubs to encourage participation in the Development Centre’s
- Investigate the option of lower age DC players competing in the SW Youth Games 2019
- Clubs to inform BR if they are going to enter any EH junior competition - ASAP
- CHA to send date league dates asap and post on County website
- Clubs to abide by the ethos of Badgers Hockey and play appropriate adult players
- Clubs to communicate well in advanced of the Badgers fixture to confirm teams / format
- Clubs to inform BR if entering Development / Badgers League DEADLINE – 8TH JULY
- CHA to share U14 league dates with CHUA
- CHA to locate the Young Umpire Trophy (Peter Littler)
- Clubs to identify potential candidate umpires
- CSM to follow up on a possible lead for County PR Officer
- CHA to populate website with dates and information
- Caradon HC hosting a World Cup 7 aside mixed Festival, 14 July at Lux Park (includes BBQ, teams represent Countries and other activities). Contact Glayne for more info.
- Clubs to add their activities onto the YWC portal and access marketing materials

Note: Dates for the next Forums (to be held at The Victoria Inn, Roche) are as follows:
- Monday 10th September 2018 at 7pm - Focus: Club Management
- Monday 14 January 2019 at 7pm - Focus: TBC
